I had the pleasure of hiking the Wilcox Pass in Jasper National Park a few years back with my wife and another couple we enjoying meeting up with in Jasper. I took a number of photos for painting. This is the first of a number I would like to do of the area, though a few will require another hike earlier in the day. This particular view is from a vantage point about two thirds of the way up from the south trail head, looking south down the Ice Fields Parkway. The Columbia Ice Fields visitor center is down in the valley to the right of the painting.
